The high point of a Boy Scout's year is Summer Camp. This week-long adventure is packed with fun, food, and learning. A week at Camp Maumee should result in significant progress toward rank advancement. Older scouts can earn several merit badges. All boys will experience new skills and challenges ranging from archery to shot gun shooting, from learning how to swim to snorkeling, from row boating to sail boarding. All Scouts and their troops will practice living as a Scout. They will camp in the woods, cook some of their own meals, and play team sports.
